This week has been more than interesting for some of our favourite celebrities with a number of gist and events making the headlines.

From celebrities calling out the government, some narrowly escaping death to those who might be getting overwhelmed with the status of a celeb, indeed these guys always have something up their sleeves.

1. Maka shares near dear experience in the hands of 'Fulani Herdsmen'

At the beginning of the week, we were all thrown into shock when soul singer, Maka shared a disturbing tweet on her Twitter page. According to her,  her bus was attacked by the dreaded herdsmen on her way to Lagos close to Ore town.
"Took a bus to Lagos from Owerri today. The journey was smooth till we got to just after Ore. We were attacked by Fulani Herdsmen with machetes and guns...God saved us all. Shout out to the driver. He a real G. Nigga didn't stop/slow down for shit!!!" she tweeted.
We reached out to her and she gave a detailed account of what happened.  She went on to describe the faces of the men, saying that they had their faces covered with charcoal and heads covered with Turban.

Another big story that made the headlines during the week was the video OAP, Daddy Freeze shared where popular COZA pastor, Biodun Fatoyinbo was seen calling on youths in his church to sow 500k. It got a number of celebrities talking and they didn't have nice words for the man of God.

3. Jada Pollock says she's not just Wizkid's baby mama but also his manager

Wizkid's baby mama, Jada Pollock has come out to say she is not just his baby mama but also his manager. The music executive made this known via her Instagram page on Tuesday, August 14, 2018. Jada had posted a photo of Wizkid's new business venture on her page and a fan took to her comment section to call her a supporting baby mama.

4. Eva Alordiah speaks on transforming sexual energy into creative energy

This might come as funny to a lot but to some others, this is just another cyber bully trying to get on the nerves of Toyin Aimakhu. The actress had posted a video on her Instagram page on Wednesday, August 2018, where she is seen playing football with a friend. She didn't expect to get the kind of message she got from a very nosy follower.
"@toyin_abraham this your legs reminds me of my missing chicken," he wrote. Well, Toyin Abraham didn't waste time before she replied the follower.

9. Eedris Abdulkareem slams IGP over detained journalist
