JUST IN: PDP Supporters Throng INEC headquarters To Celebrate ‘Victory

Chanting songs of victory, such as ‘ose ose o, ose o, ose baba’ (meaning ‘thank you, thank you, thank you, father’), the supporters danced from side to side lined up on the streets while security officials watched from afar.

Although announcement of results in Saturday’s Osun State governorship election is only a little beyond the halfway mark, supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have thronged the state headquarters of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Km 4, Gbongan Road, Osogbo, to celebrate “victory”.

According to results of the 19 local governments announced so far by INEC, Ademola Adeleke, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), boasts a slight lead over Isiaka Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
