
Brentford full-back Moses Odubajo ready to dump England for Super Eagles of Nigeria after been been approached by coach Gernot Rohr.
The 25-year-old defender who featured for England’s youth teams under Aidy Boothroyd, is set to switch countries to play for three-time African Champions.
Odubajo return back to playing regular after two years spell on the sideline with a dislocated knee injury he sustian in pre-season training after helping his former side Hull City in the 2016 Championship play-off Final to clinch promotion to the Premier League.
One-time Nigeria U23 invitee rejoin Brentford this season and get regular games in the Championship but according to the Sun claming that Super Eagles coach Rohr set to hand the right-back a called into national team next year 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifyer against Seychelles, with the finals now held at the end of the season in Cameroon.
Odubajo admitted he nerly quit football early in the season during his two years of injury setback and he has made a solid start to Brentford’s Championship campaign with seven appearances, but is yet to score for the Bees so far.
