Gov. Emmanuel scores 100 percent votes in own polling unit
The governorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in
Akwa Ibom state, Mr. Udom Emmanuel has won 100 per cent votes in his
polling unit, against his opponent in APC, Nsima Ekere, who scored
nothing.
Governor Emmanuel won 468 votes, which represent 100 per cent of
total votes cast for governorship elections in Onna town hall ward 1
unit 1 in Onna local Government Area of the State.
For the State house of Assembly, the candidate of the People’s
Democratic Party (PDP), HON. Nse Essien, also emerged winner with 467
votes against 1 vote for PCP.
The election in ward 1 unit 1 that is the governor’s ward recorded a high turn out of voters.
Meanwhile, results from other local governments are trickling in with PDP reportedly leading with wide margin accross the state.
